solstice 2018

Good morning Solstice. The shortest, darkest day leading into the light. No sunrise photo: it is dreary, gloomy and rainy and everything I hate about winter. And you can’t even see the sun! (Or the moon, a solstice full moon, how cool!)

I will welcome every second of new light in these cold, damp months. I will seriously try to not take any time for granted. Celebrate and enjoy family, friends, horses and other assorted creatures. Happy Solstice!

  1. Blessed Be on this wonderful day. May the returning Sun bring light and life, merry wit and great friendships into your coming year. May Major continue to be the stalwart and goofy friend he is and may the new year find you healthy and happy.

  2. "Don't think the garden loses its ecstasy in winter. It's quiet, but the roots down there are riotous." Rumi

Wishing you and Major many sunny, happy miles in 2019!
