We'll see how it holds up, a horse trailer is a lot rougher place than a kitchen!irish horsehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11289040711028666546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4695120516623358773.post-24319112238373325572012-07-24T15:29:57.130-07:002012-07-24T15:29:57.130-07:00This looks great... almost too fancy!! My trailer has wood floors with mats over it so no cool flooring possibilities but between you and Funder if I ever need modifications you girls can help!Caitlinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05459999598962107210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4695120516623358773.post-49240404546785529112012-07-17T07:21:33.908-07:002012-07-17T07:21:33.908-07:00Funderiffic, my new favorite word! Drives my SO crazy.

The vinyl is patterned and matte finish, but it could be slippery. But I have a large rubber-backed industrial door mat that sits right inside the door. It is about 2 x 3 (but didn't look nice in the pictures!) I am hoping it will catch most of the dirt and wet, and the rest will be easy to sweep out.

I thought about stick-on vinyl tiles, but metal expands and contracts so much, I worried about how they would hold up. And cutting one piece was just so easy. If I don't hurt myself, maybe you can use it as proof of a good idea!irish horsehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11289040711028666546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4695120516623358773.post-54060424073881338362012-07-16T21:21:04.764-07:002012-07-16T21:21:04.764-07:00Love it! That's a very Funderiffic step.

I kept ALMOST doing this in my trailer - I even bought a box of stick-on vinyl tiles for $20 - but my husband kept talking me out of it, saying it'll be too slippery. So please don't break an ankle or anything, but let me know if it IS slippery when you step in there with muddy feet?!

My current carpet isn't nailed or glued in any way, and it's not TOO hard to unload all the crap from the floor, pull the carpet, and shake the hay and dirt off. I guess. I still *want* vinyl flooring though.Funderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06358687366401205336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4695120516623358773.post-2146842999898790152012-07-16T20:40:01.840-07:002012-07-16T20:40:01.840-07:00AWESOME-NESS!AWESOME-NESS!falconfeathershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18009324555521743579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4695120516623358773.post-11850504020347223902012-07-16T10:27:00.886-07:002012-07-16T10:27:00.886-07:00Yes, I did the horse area in that, too -- the dres...Yes, I did the horse area in that, too -- the dressing room area was an after-thought. It's definitely worth getting the horse area done. I honestly don't know if I'd do it again in another dressing room area...seems like the vinyl is an easier-to-replace (and looks better) option.Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04720090581233703530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4695120516623358773.post-87846232097112490352012-07-16T09:00:24.840-07:002012-07-16T09:00:24.840-07:00Looks good, great idea. I have carpet in my midget tack room but since it's a 2 horse with the tack under the feeders and the only part I see is by the door where I pull stuff out...eh. But if I had a real tack, I'd be doing this!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01344662726517478751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4695120516623358773.post-87722145457372024242012-07-16T08:34:25.841-07:002012-07-16T08:34:25.841-07:00oh, that spray in stuff is a good idea. For $10 and part of a day's work, I figured this should work for now!irish horsehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11289040711028666546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4695120516623358773.post-73214226679057309382012-07-16T08:30:21.775-07:002012-07-16T08:30:21.775-07:00The floor looks great! Ended up coating the floor with the spray-in truck bed liner material, but I like the look of the vinyl much better.Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04720090581233703530noreply@blogger.com
